The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Special Test Equipment (STE) Architecture, Engineering, and Design team. This role bridges manufacturing and electrical systems teams to ensure producible, testable, and cost‑effective electrical assemblies.
Responsibilities- Develop and oversee manufacturing plans and optimization
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability meets requirements
- Coordinate with supplier management and project managers to integrate manufacturing requirements, hardware standards, design criteria, and schedule performance into the production plan
- Document and communicate producibility best practices
- Provide guidance and structured mentoring to others
- Coordinate parts procurement using various tools for management visibility
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent qualification directly related to the work
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Production/Industrial Engineering
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (in the past 24 months considered active)
- Experience with parts obsolescence management, assessment & monitoring
- Experience with manufacturing planning tools and production system integration with supply chain
- Experience working with procurement in acquisition of parts

Pay & BenefitsPay is based on candidate experience and qualifications. Summary pay ranges are:
- Experienced: $111,350 – $150,650
- Lead: $135,150 – $182,850
Security Clearance
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. An interim or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance post‑start is required.
