CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence Company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer
- Electrical who will design electrical systems across projects of various sizes. This hands‑on role includes leading projects, representing the firm in client and contractor interactions, and receiving mentorship toward future Project Manager responsibilities.
- Produce complete electrical system design drawings in accordance with the code.
- Collaborate on solving complex engineering problems, such as conflicting design requirements and coordination challenges.
- Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors through verbal and written communication.
- Confer with other engineers and personnel to meet project deadlines.
- Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements.
- Apply engineering principles to research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required;
Professional Engineer license highly preferred. - 4+ years of experience in electrical system design.
- Working knowledge of building codes, engineering drafting standards, and electrical engineering standards.
- Understanding of the construction process and ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems; ability to investigate, identify, and resolve technical problems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
