3) to join the MSS team in El Segundo, CA! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

* Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards

* Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests

* Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

* Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules

* Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry

* Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

* Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders

* Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree

* Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data

* Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

* Experience leading various problem solving methods (i.e. Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, or other assessment, audit and investigative models)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience with integration of complex assemblies, including test experience

* 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following within the Manufacturing Operations function (Shop Floor Manufacturing Operations, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Integration & Test Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)

* Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, manufacturing processes, or industry standards

* Foundation in electromechanical or mechatronic concepts

* Thorough understanding of root cause analysis and related analytical methodology (Five Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa Analysis, 8D, etc.) and root cause driven engineering changes
Aerospace and/or DOD Experience

* Experience or relevant course work in any of the following:
Six Sigma, Lean+, Manufacturing and/or Process Improvement

* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university

* Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel:
