Space Vehicle Systems Engineer

As a Space Vehicle Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to lead space vehicle systems engineering efforts.

Your customer will trust you to design and develop these systems and continue to evolve them with advanced technology solutions.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing
  • 7+ years of experience with Systems Architecture, Requirements Management, and Interface Control Document (ICD) development and management
  • 3+ years of experience with reviews of space systems, including SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FCA, SVR, MRR, or PCA, and the DoD acquisition system
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Dynamic work ethic, high motivation, and ability to contribute to the DoD mission
  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates
  • Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance applicants will be subject to a security investigation)
Nice to Have
  • 10+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing
  • Experience with computer tools such as Confluence or Jira
  • Experience designing, building, and testing communications antennas, transmitters, or receivers of a payload
  • Experience with mission assurance in strategic or tactical MILCOM payload development
  • Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, testing, and production policies and practices
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and contractual needs.
