A&P Helicopter Mechanic
LOCATION:
El Segundo, CA
PAY RATE: $40-50/hour
- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotorcraft and experimental aircraft
- Conduct detailed inspections to verify aircraft systems meet safety, regulatory, and operational requirements prior to flight
- Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, inspections, repairs, and reports
- Interpret maintenance manuals, engineering specifications, and technical data to complete repairs and component replacements
- Collaborate with technicians, pilots, engineers, and cross-functional teams on maintenance, modifications, and repairs
- Support fleet upgrades and integration of new technologies
- Perform additional duties as required to support flight operations and organizational goals
- High School Diploma or GED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Helicopter maintenance experience
- Hands‑on experience with rotary‑wing aircraft, specifically R66 and/or R44 (Rolls‑Royce engines)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)
- Trade school or military training in aircraft maintenance
- Robinson Maintenance Course completion
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Avionics and wiring experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
