Chief System of Systems Integrator
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical leadership skills with big picture thinking to help deliver U.S. Space Force capabilities to the warfighter? In this role you will lead and direct the technical effort of an SE&I team to help the Space Force architect, engineer, integrate, test, and field the Space Warfighting System of Systems (SoS).
As a technical leader on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the space enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle.
Responsibilities- Lead and direct the technical effort of an SE&I team for Space Warfighting SoS.
- Work side‑by‑side with senior Space Force officers and executives to develop and define SoS engineering and integration plans and processes.
- Perform architectural analysis, define and manage requirements, control interfaces, and design, integrate and test end‑to‑end capabilities, mission threads, and kill chains.
- Identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up‑front and early to develop advanced technology solutions.
- Perform systems engineering leadership and program management in support of enterprise reviews and governance boards.
- Analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate executive leaders to implement recommended solutions.
- 18+ years of experience in defense systems engineering and development, including Joint space operations, C5
ISR, and battle management systems. - 5+ years of experience serving in a systems engineering leadership role for a large‑scale space system of systems program.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience working within the DoD acquisition system and knowledge of lifecycle planning, program management, and key program milestones.
- High motivation, dynamic work ethic, and ability to contribute to the DoD mission.
- Comfortable with daily interactions at executive leadership level.
- Ability to drive organizational change with limited authority.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.
- Experience working within the DoD acquisition system.
- Experience practicing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience in Agile planning and systems development.
- Knowledge of Space Force systems and war fighting missions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Master’s degree in a STEM or Space field.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and experience.
