Position Responsibilities
- Designing and developing next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems
- Developing and verifying multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms
- Conducting performance analysis of signal processing models
- Performing waveform development and characterization
- Performing trade studies
- Supporting integration and test of our payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in-orbit operations
- Supporting HDL-level design and verification
- Performing detailed system design and verification activities
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship as a condition of employment. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) / digital communications algorithms and techniques (equalization, turbo/Viterbi coding/decoding, channel estimation, filter design, resampling theory, etc.).
- 1+ years of experience with Matlab or Simulink.
- 3+ years of experience in core digital communications and signal processing theory.
- 1+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade design).
- Experience working with ASICs or FPGAs.
- Experience with performance characteristics of analog electronics or data converters (ADCs/DACs).
- Experience with digital/RF lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer).
- 3+ years of experience with Matlab and/or Simulink.
- 5+ years of experience in digital signal processing or digital communications.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering concepts (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade design).
- Leading teams.
- Leading IR&D activities.
- Mid‑level: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Lead Level: 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Summary Pay Range for Mid‑level (Level
3): $119,850 – $162,150
Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level
4): $146,200 – $197,800
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet these requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
