Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) - Payload Mechanical Design Engineer (Associate)

Location:

El Segundo, CA.

• Mechanical Design using CAD application
• RF Waveguide and cable routing using CAD application
• Detail documentation for payload mechanical engineering
• Support of manufacturing activities for payload engineering
• Coordination of requirements with different functions

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)
• Typically, 2 years or more of related work experience
• 1+ year as a Mechanical Engineer in a production environment
• 1+ year experience with RF Communication systems
• 1+ year experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g., CREO, NX, Catia)

• Experience with CREO Parametric CAD application
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Requires U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance after hire.

Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Position is for 1st shift.

Summary pay range: $90,950 – $123,050.
