The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Level
5) position, to support the Electronics Unit Programs organization team based in El Segundo, CA
.
- Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management for high reliability electronic unit hardware development and delivery.
- Develop and maintain Earned Value baselines and status to plan.
- Define required resources from space electronics engineering, operations, and supplier management to build cross functional unit level teams necessary to execute electronic units design, development, and delivery to programs.
- Coordinate with programs and operations to optimize unit hardware production pipelines and deliveries.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly program and functional reporting cycles.
- Perform unit sell-offs, project close-out, and document lessons learned for incorporation into future project plans and unit hardware roadmaps.
- Bachelor Degree or higher in a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
- 5+ years of experience working with military or space electronics
- 5+ years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments
- Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management)
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
