Description:
Apply to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team. SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise support to theUS Space Force and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
As a member of our PNT SE&I team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with government personnel and system developers to ensure that Global Positioning System (GPS) remains the gold standard for positioning, navigation, and timing.
A successful candidate will collaborate and communicate with the SE&I leadership team to ensure processes and products are delivered with quality and professionalism.
- Duties
- Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design
- Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries
- Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses
- Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance
- Perform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs
- Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management
- Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to‑end mission performance requirements are met
- Experience with system architecture development
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
- Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed
- Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience
- Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations
