The Airborne Radar Design Department is currently seeking an early career Mechanical Engineer (Eng I, Mech Engrg) for the Processors and Electronic Packaging section in El Segundo, CA. The person in this position will be involved in electronics packaging design for airborne radar subsystems including Receiver, Exciter, Processor and Power Supply. Tasks will include mechanical engineering support throughout the hardware life cycle, including concept development, preliminary and detail design, selection of precision machining techniques, transition to production, production support and installation.

Typical technologies include electronic enclosures, heat exchangers (coldwalls), machined components, RF microwave assemblies, and power converter units, often with challenging size, weight, power, and cost requirements. The initial assignment will likely focus on the engineering Production Support of an airborne miliary radar. This role is located in El Segundo (On-site).
