Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a passion for aerospace and cutting-edge technology?
An innovative aerospace company developing next-generation communications systems for satellites, launch vehicles, UAVs, and other advanced aerospace platforms is looking for a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality initiatives across a high-performance manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead supplier qualification, performance management, and strategic development
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure supplier compliance
- Manage SCARs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions
- Conduct supplier audits and source inspections
- Develop supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
We're looking for someone with:
- 9+ years of supplier quality experience within aerospace & defence
- Experience with space-grade machining, PCBs, PCBAs, integrated assemblies, and test
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001
- Expertise in root cause analysis and supplier development
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline
