JOB DESCRIPTION Our Clinet Northrop Grumman is looking for a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer to support our El Segundo Tooling department. As a member of the Offsite Fabrication department, you’ll get to work directly with our sub tier suppliers to manage the fabrication of tools. This position will serve on-site at El Segundo. Seeking an experienced engineer to oversee the end-to-end design, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning of specialized tooling at our sub tier suppliers.
In this role you will act as the primary technical liaison between our internal engineering teams and manufacturing partners. You will author comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), evaluate sub tier supplier capabilities and drive hands on manufacturing execution to ensure composite and metallic tools are built to rigorous aerospace and industrial specification on schedule and budget.
