Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SIWS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead, Senior or Principal Analog/Power Electronics Bus Unit Hardware Engineer (Level 4, 5 or
6) to join us as part of our Space Digital Products & Electronics team located in El Segundo, CA.

• Design and development of state-of-the art Analog / Power Electronics Bus Unit Hardware Engineer and electronics for aerospace applications

• Duties will include electronics design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification

• Technical support for production and test of electronic products

• Support projects involving
  
  Electronics design

• Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products

• Develop detailed designs of limited scope

• Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design

• Capture data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis

• Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Conducts trade studies and literature research to support future product designs

• Work under minimal supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• Level 4: 5+ years of experience with Analog and/or Power Electronics and/or Hardware

• Level 5: 10+ years of experience with Analog and/or Power Electronics and/or Hardware

• Level 6: 15+ years of experience with Analog and/or Power Electronics and/or Hardware

• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security clearance post start for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

• Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

• Experience with Digital, Analog and Power Electronics

• Experience with circuit design and analysis

• Experience with Firmware, Microprocessor or other Hardware

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or other related advanced degree

• Lead (Level
  4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more…
