The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a graduate level Power and Analog Circuit Engineering Intern for the Analog and Power Systems Department within the Electronics Engineering Subdivision. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Use of standard lab equipment to perform electrical engineering evaluations at the breadboard level required.
  • Perform circuit simulations using SABER and SPICE computer codes.
  • Close and timely coordination and communication of progress of ongoing tasks and technical issues with the Engineering Technology Group management and technical peers.
  • Develop clear and concise written reports, presentations, and concisely articulate presentation material to management and peers.
  • Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
  • Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks.
  • Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed.
  • Training and mentorship will be provided.

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Master's or Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship.
  • Bachelor's degree completed by internship start date
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or completed coursework of circuit simulation and lab component/circuit characterization techniques.
  • Ability to Travel 25%.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government.
  • U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • Transcripts required.
