Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.
- Implement the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor treasury functions, including investments and debt management.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, MBA or a related field
- 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Certified (CPA) or (CMA) preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Proven track record of managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
