Financial Manager, CFO
The Director of Finance And Accounting is responsible for leading all financial, accounting, treasury, and internal control functions across both entities, including oversight of subsidiaries and supporting expansion into new markets such as the Dallas office.
This role drives the Company’s financial strategy, ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, J-GAAP, internal controls, and applicable financial regulatory requirements, and supports the continued growth through disciplined financial management and operational excellence.
The CFO will supervise the Accounting Manager and related accounting and administrative personnel, providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight across financial operations, statutory reporting, expense management, payroll, benefits programs (including 401K implementation), tax compliance, and M&A-related financial due diligence and integration. This position requires bilingual capability, strong executive judgment, and a deep understanding of cross-border financial management for Japanese multinational corporate groups.

The Director of Finance And Accounting is responsible for leading all financial, accounting, treasury, and internal control functions across both entities, including oversight of subsidiaries and supporting expansion into new markets such as the Dallas office.
Responsibilities- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks consistent with U.S. GAAP, J-GAAP, and internal corporate standards.
- Present financial reports, key variances, and risk assessments to the President & CEO and Board-level stakeholders.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for DKUSA, DKRMA, and all subsidiaries/SPCs formed for acquisition, investment, or project development.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for all entities are completed accurately and timely.
- Oversee consolidation and reporting to the Japanese parent company using STRAVIS or other designated systems.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.
- Oversee capital allocation, intercompany settlements, and fund transfers for construction projects, acquisitions, and corporate operations.
- Supervise distribution processes for investor dividends/returns in DKRMA-managed investment structures.
- Support the upcoming establishment and financial setup of new regional offices (e.g., Dallas).
- Implement financial controls, accounting workflows, and reporting lines for the new office.
- Oversee financial operations of existing and newly acquired subsidiaries under DKUSA.
- Ensure that each entity maintains compliance with corporate, tax, audit, and banking requirements.
- Ensure consistency in financial standards, documentation, and internal controls across all group entities.
5.1 Supervision of Accounting Manager
- Directly lead and mentor the Accounting Manager, overseeing professional development, performance evaluations, and the alignment of departmental priorities with corporate strategy.
- Oversee the Accounting Manager’s responsibilities in financial reporting, bookkeeping, expense reimbursement, HR/administrative support, and project-level accounting.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of her team’s output.
- Oversee A/R, A/P, general ledger, fixed assets, project accounting, and tenant revenue accounting.
- Ensure tax compliance (property tax, income tax, sales/use tax, and corporate filings).
- Manage external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Implement automation, workflow standardization, and improved reporting dashboards.
- Strengthen documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
