Position Overview

Estimating and Pricing Senior Lead – Space and Launch – Estimating and Pricing, El Segundo, California.

• Leads development of estimates and prices from technical requirements through design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program.
• Develops, prepares, and validates estimates and prices.
• Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing, and assembles price proposals.
• Develops estimating and pricing methods.
• Evaluates and develops cases.
• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, etc.).
• Incorporates data into, and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements.
• Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
• Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions.
• Recognized as a job expert within the company and consultant to top management.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in a finance‑related position such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA).
• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Willing to travel domestically as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance within the past 24 months.
• Experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, procurement integrity, export control related to development of cost proposals).
• 10+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing functions.
• 10+ years of experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, estimating and pricing tools and processes.
• 10+ years of experience supporting audit, fact‑finding, and negotiations.
• Experience with conflict of interest management.

• Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

• Pay range: $154,700 – $209,300, based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
