Temporary Assignment

This is a temporary, short‑paced assignment offering the opportunity to contribute to a fast‑paced, collaborative team. It is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

General Purpose

The Loan Operations Associate is an administrative role responsible for completing standardized operational tasks within the loan lifecycle, focusing on accurate data entry, system updates, document management, and status maintenance within internal loan systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks related to loan files, including data entry, document uploads, and system updates.
  • Accurately update the Loan Operating System (LOS) and related tools to reflect current loan status, milestones, and required data fields.
  • Manage assigned work queues and tasks to ensure timely completion within defined service‑level agreements (SLAs).
  • Index, label, and organize documentation in accordance with established standards and naming conventions.
  • Ensure loan records are complete, accurate, and consistently reflected across internal systems.
  • Execute checklist‑driven tasks with a high level of attention to detail and consistency.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and flag items for review following documented procedures.
  • Meet or exceed individual productivity, quality, and turnaround‑time metrics.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, job aids, and workflows without deviation.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.
  • Use internal dashboards, reports, and tools to track progress and task completion.
  • Adjust work pace as needed to meet daily and monthly operational demands.
  • Participate in required training to learn systems, processes, and performance expectations.
  • Escalate system issues, exceptions, or task blockers to leadership as directed.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned to support loan operations.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information, including personal data, loan information, financial records, business information, and other proprietary materials.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, document review, funding, and closing processes required.
  • Experience reviewing loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to funding strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a production‑or metrics‑driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Experience using loan origination systems (LOS), workflow systems, and mortgage‑related databases preferred.

  • Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and standardized workflows.
