An established regional banking organization is expanding its Private Banking presence in Southern California and is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join its growing South Bay team.

This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, and professional service firms while partnering closely with Commercial Banking to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the firm7s Private Banking franchise throughout the South Bay market while leveraging an established referral network, local decision-making, and a broad suite of banking and wealth management capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new Private Banking relationships throughout the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles market

  • Manage high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships

  • Deliver comprehensive banking and wealth management solutions

  • Generate loan, deposit, and fee income growth

  • Partner closely with Commercial Banking and branch teams to deepen client relationships

  • Build referral partnerships with attorneys, CPAs, business managers, and other centers of influence

  • Collaborate with investment, lending, mortgage, planning, and insurance specialists

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience while expanding wallet share across banking and wealth solutions

  • Contribute to the continued growth of the Private Banking franchise in Southern California

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 10–15+ years of Private Banking, Private Wealth, Wealth Management, or Private Client experience

  • Active FINRA securities licenses (Series 7, 63, and 65 or equivalent)

  • California Life Insurance License

  • Experience serving high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients

  • Strong lending, deposit gathering, and relationship management experience

  • Proven business development success

  • Experience partnering with Commercial Banking teams

  • Established network of professional referral sources

  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and client-focused

  • $1MM+ investable assets
