Company Overview

Rangeview is on a mission to build the foundry system that reindustrializes America. We exist to break the legacy manufacturing trap by reinventing critical production for the twenty‑first century. Through advanced software, deep automation, breakthroughs in materials science, and modern financing strategies, Rangeview rewrites both the cost curve and the power structure of making metal parts.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Government Program Lead to support and execute Rangeview's portfolio of US government‑funded programs and opportunities. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Partnerships and is designed as a hands‑on, lifecycle program management position spanning opportunity identification, award, and execution.

The Government Program Lead serves as a primary interface between Rangeview and government customers, combining strong communication, program discipline, and sound professional judgment with applied technical understanding of hardware design or manufacturing. In the early stages of engagement, the role is focused on opportunity development and pre‑award coordination, followed by support through negotiation and award. As programs mature, the role shifts toward external communication and execution coordination.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment and attention to detail in all communications and is comfortable representing the company with credibility and polish in meetings, reviews, and formal correspondence. They are willing and able to engage directly with government customers, internal teams, and company leadership, operating confidently at the interface between stakeholders and execution, and bring the ability to understand and apply evolving government‑industry dynamics for effective positioning and program execution.

Responsibilities

Pre‑award & Government Business Development Support:
  • Support identification, qualification, and review of government opportunities
  • Assist with opportunity and contract review to ensure timely, compliant responses
  • Participate in early technical and programmatic discussions with government counterparts in a professional, well‑prepared manner
Negotiation, Award & Transition:
  • Support contract negotiation and award finalization
  • Assist with review and reconciliation of terms, milestones, reporting requirements, and government‑specific clauses
Program Organization, Execution & External Interface:
  • Serve as the primary external point of contact for government customers and stakeholders, and as the internal program‑level coordinator defining interfaces with functional teams (engineering, production, etc.)
  • Identify cross‑functional or non‑standard requirements that fall outside existing team scopes and take ownership of coordinating or executing those items
  • Prepare and deliver program reports, briefings, and reviews required by government sponsors
  • Support invoicing, milestone verification, and funding drawdown processes specific to public programs
Required Skills / Experience
  • Demonstrated technical background sufficient to engage directly with engineers, interpret technical scope, and exercise sound judgment on hard tech programs
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving, cross‑functional environments
  • Experience supporting or interfacing with complex programs in technical, manufacturing, R&D, or government‑adjacent environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams
  • Strong communication skills, including comfort in formal, customer‑facing settings
Preferred Skills / Experience
  • Prior military experience or experience working closely with military organizations
  • Interest in and ability to reason about the evolving manufacturing landscape, including the roles of the Department of War, prime contractors, and manufacturers.
  • Experience supporting US government programs, contracts, or grants
  • Experience with Department of War programs or contracting mechanisms
  • Experience preparing or supporting grant applications and early‑stage government‑funded programs
  • Familiarity with government contracting mechanisms
  • Experience coordinating with legal and contracts…
