Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, California. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has expertise in managing payroll for large employee groups across multiple states. You'll play an integral part in ensuring payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll for a large employee base, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to varying state regulations and tax requirements.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll tasks and maintain employee data.

- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

- Generate and review payroll reports to identify and correct errors.

- Assist with audits and reporting requirements related to payroll processes.

- Collaborate with internal teams to improve payroll procedures and systems.

- Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive employee and payroll information.

Requirements - Proven experience with full-cycle payroll processing.

- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and practices.

- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management.

- Ability to manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees.

- Familiarity with payroll compliance laws and reporting standards.

- Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.

- Strong communication skills for addressing payroll inquiries.

- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
