At Booz Allen, you'll be at the forefront of tackling high-impact, mission-critical problems. Working alongside engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders, you’ll transform varied and often siloed data into actionable intelligence. Your work will help clients make informed, data-driven decisions that truly matter.

As a data scientist on our Space Force team, you’ll use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems. You’ll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions.

Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
• 5+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
• Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
• Experience building, validating, and deploying AI/ML models
• Experience using analytics and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Palantir Foundry
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with Python preferred
• Experience working within the Palantir Foundry platform creating data flows, ontologies, pipelines, and supporting analytics or model integration
• Experience with scalable cloud platforms, such as Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider, including AWS (Sage Maker, S3, or EMR) or Azure (Azure
  
  ML or Data Factory), or similar
• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL/No
  
  SQL
• Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master s degree in Data Science, AI, CS, or a similar field

Top Secret clearance is required.
