What You Will Do:

* Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.

* Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.

* Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.

* Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with expectations of leadership team.

* Manage ESXi, VCenter and Microsoft windows domains

* Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.

* Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.

* Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.

* Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

* Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

* Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

* Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

* Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.

* Full time 100% Onsite position. Qualifications You Must Have:
* Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

* Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

* Experience with Windows and/or Linux.
Qualifications We Prefer:
* Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.

* Experience with cloning techniques.

* Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.

* Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.

* Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).

* Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

* Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.

* Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD.
