Senior Network Engineer

Program Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA to work cutting‑edge technology supporting the U.S. Space Force.

Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain

• Network Design & Implementation: Design and deploy secure LAN/WAN, voice, and data networks, including hybrid SD‑WAN, using tools like routers, switches, and firewalls. Develop network of network systems.
• Space Systems Support: Support the Satellite Control Network (SCN) by installing, configuring, and maintaining secure communication systems for satellite command, telemetry, and data transport.
• Battle Network Integration (ABMS): Develop and integrate digital infrastructure for the DAF Battle Network, focusing on agile development of Digital Infrastructure Processing Nodes (DIPN).
• Security & Compliance (STIG/RMF): Implement and validate Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to secure classified environments, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and using ACAS to monitor security posture.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform, monitor, and troubleshoot network performance (layers 1-4)
• Documentation & Technical Leadership: Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation; mentor junior engineers.

• Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance (often required to be SCI eligible).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or III compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CISSP).
• Experience: 2–10+ years in network operations, engineering, or design within a classified environment. Development and integration of network of networks.

  Proficiency in Cisco IOS, BGP, OSPF, multicast, VPNs, and Network Management Software
• SATCOM/RF Knowledge: Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) systems, Laser communication systems, telemetry, and satellite communications.
• Agile Development: Experience working in Scrum teams to deliver rapid technology integration.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Experience with VMware NSX, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Automation: Scripting languages such as Python or Ansible for automated infrastructure testing
