AI Digital Regulatory and Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the toy and entertainment industry, is seeking a dedicated AI Digital Safety, Regulatory and Compliance Analyst to join their team. As an AI Digital Safety, Regulatory and Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Safety, Regulatory, & Compliance team supporting the Quality organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensuring safety and compliance standards are met, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AI Digital Safety, Regulatory and Compliance Analyst

Location: El Segundo, CA (5 days onsite)

Pay Range: $35 - $45

What's the Job?

• Research, monitor, and summarize emerging global, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance related to AI and digital features in children's products.
• Collaborate with Quality Trust & Impact and Legal teams to evaluate AI-enabled and digital product features for potential child safety risks.
• Assist with reviewing data collection policies to ensure compliance with COPPA and other privacy regulations.
• Develop internal policies, principles, checklists, guidance documents, and risk assessments related to AI and digital technologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Product Development, and Innovation to integrate safety and regulatory considerations into product lifecycle.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, plus a graduate degree in Law, Public Policy, or a related field focusing on AI, digital safety, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong interest or experience in AI, emerging technologies, digital ethics, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with children's data privacy regulations such as COPPA and GDPR, and product safety regulations like CPSC is a plus.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal or regulatory concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
