This is a 1099 contract opportunity ideal for independent freelance professionals looking to supplement their business income with regular classroom instruction.
Classes are typically 1 to 5 days long. Class times are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a one‑hour lunch break. Instructors are expected to arrive by 8:00 AM and may need to stay up to an hour later to answer questions or assist students. Classes are delivered during the business workweek; evenings and weekends are not offered.
Students are typically currently employed adult business professionals whose employer pays for the training.
Courseware is standardized and provided to students, but instructors are expected to purchase their own courseware. We use courseware from Logical Operations for most products; some classes use Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC), which requires Microsoft Certified Trainer status.
As independent contractors, trainers set their own daily rate. Rates vary but competitive rates increase opportunities. Each teaching day includes approximately six hours of classroom delivery, with additional time needed for preparation and setup. Pay is competitive and negotiable.
