Oracle Specialist/ Consultant, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Our client is looking for an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Lead / Lead OIC‑Oracle ERP Solution Architect to lead the design, build, deployment, stabilization and ongoing production support of the client’s Oracle Cloud integration landscape. This role is expected to be a hands‑on technical lead who can own Oracle ERP Cloud integrations end‑to‑end, partner with business and IT stakeholders, direct onshore/offshore delivery teams and serve as the primary escalation point for OIC‑related issues, changes and operational readiness.
Reporting into the Sr. Director of IT Finance, the OIC Lead partners with Finance, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and Operations, Security, functional process owners, external systems integrators and managed‑service partners to support and continuously improve the client’s Oracle Cloud and NGF integration environment. The position is hourly at $90‑$100/hr (W2) and is remote‑friendly, with a strong preference for sit‑on‑site in El Segundo, CA.
you will work on
- Act as the technical lead and solution architect for Oracle Integration Cloud across Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EPM, on‑premise platforms, databases and third‑party SaaS applications.
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle for OIC integrations, including requirements analysis, solution design, technical specification review, build oversight, code/configuration review, testing, deployment, cutover, hyper‑care and production support.
- Lead the OIC integrations team across onshore and offshore resources, including daily handoffs, priority setting, issue triage, task assignment, status tracking and escalation management.
- Design and guide integration patterns using OIC adapters, REST/SOAP services, scheduled orchestrations, business events, FBDI, BI Publisher, BICC extracts, file/SFTP patterns, database connectivity, DBCS and secure connectivity to on‑premise systems such as IBM iSeries / DB2.
- Take ownership of client‑built and partner‑built integrations, including R2R, P2R, AP, AR, intercompany, payments, banking, customer, vendor, High Radius, Project Commitment, PRP1, Coupa/AIC and other Finance and enterprise integration flows.
- Drive execution of OIC business event, scheduling, re‑migration, cutover and environment promotion activities across development, test and production environments.
- Perform and coordinate 4‑eye reviews, post‑implementation validations, deployment sign‑offs and object‑level verification to confirm that OIC objects, schedules, integrations, connections, and dependent components are migrated and operating correctly.
- Lead production support for OIC‑related interfaces, Oracle ESS jobs, batch processing and interface error resolution, including daily batch/interface health reporting for AP, AR, intercompany, banking, customers, vendors and related Finance processes.
- Serve as the escalation point for OIC incidents, P1/P2 service interruptions, recurring interface failures and production defects; drive root‑cause analysis, service owner approvals, preventive action plans and closure of problem records.
- Manage Service Now change, incident, problem and service request processes for OIC, including expedited change approvals, production change documentation, post‑implementation tasks, aging SCTASKs/incidents and change calendar readiness.
- Partner with Infrastructure and Operations, Security, UAM, database, network and application teams to manage OIC, DB, ERP and production access approvals; ensure least‑privilege access, audit readiness and secure integration connectivity.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Oracle ERP functional teams, Finance business users, systems integrators, HCL/managed‑service partners and external vendors to resolve cross‑platform integration issues and align technical decisions with the client’s standards.
- Create and maintain integration design documentation, cutover runbooks, deployment checklists, support playbooks, monitoring/error‑handling standards, dashboards, status reports and executive‑ready summaries of accomplishments, risks, issues and dependencies.
