What You Will Do- Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting
- Integrated AD authentication (Kerberos, LDAP and/or Centrify)
- Experience with SMTP, DHCP, DNS, NIS, LDAP, CIFS, NFS, Samba and
* NIX system security - Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products like Symantec Net Backup
- Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities (e.g. Antivirus)
- Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing appropriate solutions
- Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment
- Experience with an IT incident/service request system
- Experience with HP server hardware support and diagnosis
- Experience with HP storage hardware support and diagnosis
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience supporting Linux operating systems
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, Administration, backup and recovery
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date
- Experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc)
- Experience with Storage – HP MSA, RAID configuration
- Experience with Window Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience with Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions
- Information Technology project lifecycle management processes
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods development
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange
- Scripting Experience
