The Senior Manager (M5), Classified Networking Operations, reports to our Networking Operations Lead for Classified Infrastructure Services within Raytheon Digital Technology. This role provides operational and delivery leadership for a team of approximately 20 networking professionals responsible for secure, reliable, scalable, and supportable network services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop team capabilities, set clear performance expectations, and establish operating discipline.
• Develop operational metrics, guide technical planning, manage long‑term budgets and technical debt, and support daily operations.
• Translate priorities into actionable plans, manage multiple operational and project commitments, and maintain visibility to progress.
• Shape, prioritize, and execute the networking roadmap, identifying modernization opportunities and operational gaps.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicating technical risks, service impacts, and resource needs.
• Establish and sustain disciplined practices across incident, problem, change, configuration, vulnerability, inventory, capacity, and lifecycle management.
• Guide technical direction, apply sound judgment, and balance technical requirements, security and compliance obligations, and operational risk.

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience.
• 8140 Advanced certification for Network Operations Specialist (e.g., CCNP Security, CASP+) or for IT Investment/Portfolio Manager (e.g., CISSP).
• Experience with classified networking concepts and operations, including routing and switching, network monitoring, incident management, change management, configuration management, vulnerability management, inventory management, and lifecycle management.
• Experience leading technical teams through organizational change, shifting priorities, operational challenges, and resource constraints.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and operations, including roadmaps, modernization efforts, workload management, and talent development.
• Experience building execution plans, managing competing priorities, establishing milestones, and delivering on commitments.
• Experience in workforce planning and resource management.
• Active and transferable U.S. government–issued Top Secret security clearance on day 1. U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience managing network teams in classified environments.
• Strong customer service skills, including clear oral and written communication.
• IT project management experience and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and Connected Factory initiatives.
• Experience with classified computing, NIST, STIG compliance, and network refresh activities.
• Experience leading teams within Digital Technology or IT organizations.
• Experience implementing newer technologies such as cloud‑based environments.
• Familiarity with network management tools.
  
  Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery operations.
• Background in Information Technology, Engineering, or Program environments.
• Knowledge of security requirements and controls in classified environments, including DFARS, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG.
• Experience with cybersecurity hardening, compliance, process controls, and risk management.
• Ability to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive timely resolution.
• Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the enterprise.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks and initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, inspire, and motivate teams.

• Competitive salary range: 145,600 USD – 276,800 USD.
