Senior Windows & Linux SysAdmin - Secret Clearance, Onsite

Position Overview

Onshore IT Systems Administrator – located in El Segundo, CA. Requires a U.S. citizenship and an active Secret‑level security clearance prior to start. Must work full‑time onsite.

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment; configure and manage DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and server replication.
• Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technology environment to troubleshoot and resolve moderate‑to‑high‑scope issues, including hardware/OS integration.
• Understand RAID, backup technologies, and install/maintain software applications requested by end users.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, including obtaining DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.
• Support 24/7 operations and occasional off‑hour work; travel within the U.S. up to 10% per year.

• Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end‑user data.
• Operating system concepts and implementations.
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory services administration (user/computer objects, Group Policy).
• Network services in Microsoft Windows (DC, DNS, DHCP).
• Unix and Linux systems administration.
• VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, CFEngine.
• Cross‑domain solutions, system deployment, performance tuning, monitoring, infrastructure as code.
• Storage management with Net App FAS
  8000.

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with minimum three years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Windows and/or Linux systems administration experience.

• Active Top‑Secret security clearance.
• Bit Locker support, command‑line and utilities expertise.
• Domain controller, global catalog, DNS, DHCP knowledge.
• Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• AWS or Azure cloud experience.
• Experience with MDT/WSUS/MECM, Windows desktops (10/11), Horizon.
• Experience with engineering applications (Mat Lab, Green Hills, Doors, Subversion).
• CompTIA Security+ or comparable certification.
• ITIL Foundations or ITIL Service Operations.

• Salary range: 95,500 USD – 181,700 USD.
