This Skill Bridge opportunity is with Raytheon.
RTX is a provider of Skill Bridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. Skill Bridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this fellowship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.
To be eligible for a Skill Bridge, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces
- Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
What You Will Do:
- Preparing and loading In-Line-Network (INE) encryptors and secure voice products.
- Submitting accurate and timely accounting reports to the NSA Central Office of Records (COR) or another assigned COR.
- Ordering, receiving, and maintaining COMSEC equipment and encryption keys.
- Tracking supersession dates and performing software upgrades.
- Perform regular inventories, compliance validations, and incident reporting and investigations as necessary.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with Microsoft products.
- Experience working with DoD and NSA.
- Experience supporting COMSEC activities.
- Must be eligible to participate in DoW Skill Bridge
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous NSA COMSEC certification.
- Experience working in an SAP/SCI environment.
- Experience with COMSEC Accounting, Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS) Reporting & Distribution System (CARDS).
- Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment.
- Experience in the management of Windows based information systems.
- Knowledge of legacy COMSEC equipment.
