A well-established California firm is hiring a Plaintiff Employment Litigation Attorney – Los Angeles to manage impactful employment law cases from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with experience in wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, discrimination, and workplace-related personal injury matters. Key Responsibilities for the Plaintiff Employment Litigation Attorney – Los Angeles- Represent clients in employment litigation, including wrongful termination, harassment, and wage/hour disputes
- Oversee all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial prep
- Draft and argue dispositive and procedural motions, including MSJs and discovery motions
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with California and federal court procedures
- Attend court appearances, arbitrations, and mediations
- Communicate directly with clients to manage expectations and maintain trust
- Collaborate with paralegals and staff to efficiently move cases forward
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in employment litigation (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Working knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Federal Rules
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and workers’ rights
- Schedule: Hybrid (office and remote mix)
