Sr Manager, Supply Chain Management, Material Program Manager (MPM) for Raytheon Advanced Products & Systems (APS), Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Program Area.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for large international franchise opportunities as part of an integrated product team (IPT).
- Deploy principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and other next‑generation ERP systems).
- Collaborate closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements.
- Maintain master data, perform MRP scheduling and material sales forecasting.
- Develop and execute material strategies that support customer requirements and meet program objectives.
- Generate and manage Supplier Request for Proposals/Quotes (RFPs/RFQs).
- Handle financial management tasks, including earned value, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, and material sales forecasts.
- Own the supplier management process: supplier risk/opportunity management plan, supplier performance metrics, EXIM, make/buy strategy, collaborative agreement process, and communication of customer flow‑through requirements such as FAR 12, FAR 15, DFAR, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, and warranty.
- Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and program schedules within that environment.
- Balance supply and demand to create and maintain executable schedules.
- Resolve issues and conflicts within organizations, between organizations, and with suppliers.
- Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and risk & opportunities.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
- University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret clearance).
- Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through education and past experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to provide creative and systemic solutions.
- Experience leading Supply Chain‑related New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or Transition to Production (T2P) activities.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating end‑to‑end planning and identifying constraints, risks, and opportunities.
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning tools experience (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, automation).
- Knowledge base for influencing change and providing lasting systemic solutions to ensure MRP integrity and on‑time deliveries.
- Team leadership/management experience.
- Experience with international suppliers and export/import policies.

- Salary range: $145,600 – $276,800 USD (good faith estimate).
