Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team supporting a portfolio of fast‑paced development programs. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll develop and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure streamlining from the front end of the business through contract closure.

This position supports product development efforts and mandates operation in a challenging, constantly changing environment where robust material strategy and agile execution are mandatory.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
  • Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where Process
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow‑Downs and communicate required terms, attachments, and/or modifications
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and understand supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re‑Activation requests
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management including MRP system demand loads
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure performance
  • Mandatory travel
Qualifications You Must Have
  • University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 8 years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes
  • Experience supporting product development efforts
  • Must obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

Salary range for this role is 118,300 USD – 224,900 USD. This estimate represents compensation for all experience levels. Final compensation may be adjusted for role, responsibilities, experience, location, education, training and key skills.
