* About this Role:

** Consertus has an immediate need for a
** Construction Manager IV
** to support
** LAWA’s Terminal Development & Improvement Program (TDIP)
** on the
** Terminal 7 / Terminal 8 Refresh
** project  Construction Manager will report to the Terminal 7 / Terminal Project Manager and will be responsible for managing and coordinating contractor construction activities in an active/operating airport environment. This role serves as a key liaison during pre-construction and construction and will lead safety, security, quality, schedule certainty, and budget delivery while ensuring LAWA standards and operational requirements are met.

Project scope highlights include interior renovations, aircraft apron pavement rehabilitation, concessions enabling, and supporting enhancements focused on resiliency, sustainability, and user experience.

* Key Responsibilities:

**** Construction Oversight & Field Management
*** Monitor all on-site field construction activities to ensure successful project delivery.
* Ensure construction operations follow approved work plans and
** Area Shutdown Requests (ASRs)
** and that required notifications are made.
* Ensure work is performed and inspected to the latest approved plans/specifications, including changes, submittals, and RFIs.
* Apply comprehensive knowledge of construction disciplines, methods, and installation techniques.
** Schedule, Budget, and Resource Management
*** Support overall planning of construction activities and identify critical milestones and priorities.
* Monitor budget estimates, staffing requirements, and resource loading to maintain schedule and meet budget goals.
* Identify risks/problem areas and take preventative actions to protect critical milestones.
* Prepare periodic progress reports for management and client stakeholders.
** Stakeholder & Operational Coordination
*** Lead stakeholder engagement to identify needs, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with scope/schedule/budget.
* Participate in coordination meetings with contractors, trade partners, stakeholders, and LAWA Operations.
* Maintain strong working relationships with design and construction professionals through open communication and collaborative problem solving.
** Quality, Safety, and Compliance
*** Enforce sound and safe construction practices and drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
* Ensure effective implementation of all policies and procedures, including
** Project Labor Agreement (PLA)
** policies.
** Change Management
*** Review Contractor Potential Change Order Claims (PCOs) for merit and negotiate to final resolution.
*** Minimum Qualifications
****** Required Experience***
* *** 15+ years of experience,**
* * preferably on
** airport projects.***
* * Experience delivering projects **$100M+
** in value.*
* * Experience with
** multiple delivery methods,
** including
** Design-Bid-Build, Design + CMAR, and Design-Build.***
* * Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.*
* * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of industry practices and regulations.*
* * Proficient with
** Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
