Senior Manager, Program Management (PM) – Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU)
Senior Manager, Program Management (PM) responsible for overseeing the production and capital efforts for Advanced Systems, a high-profile portfolio within the Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) organization. The role is located onsite in El Segundo, CA, and requires active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
What You Will Do- Lead all aspects of program cost, schedule, and technical execution to ensure predictable performance.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross‑functional teams across multiple Raytheon sites.
- Implement and execute the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), including meeting Estimate at Completion (EAC) requirements.
- Establish and execute baseline schedules, negotiating and executing change requirements.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customer counterparts.
- Travel domestically as needed to support business engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant program management, systems engineering, or business management experience.
- Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of related experience also acceptable.
- Proven experience managing cost, schedule, and/or performance for programs using program management tools.
- Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or Radio Frequency (RF) principles, systems development, and application of applicable technologies in operations.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence cross‑functional production teams, functional leaders, domestic and global supply chain, and internal program leaders to secure the resources necessary to execute profitable production programs.
- Program Management Level 6 certification preferred; ability to obtain within one year is acceptable.
- Active, transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date, with ability to obtain program access thereafter.
