** Electro-Mechanical Technician Senior - Second Shift*

** Job Summary*
* The Electro-Mechanical Technician Senior will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment. This role requires to work the second shift.

This position's internal job code is Electro-Mechanical Technician. Our team is currently hiring for grade 24.

* Position Responsibilities:

*
* + Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis

+ Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures

+ Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers

+ Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures

+ Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications

+ Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair

+ Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components

+ Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

** Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements*
* This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + High school diploma or GED

+ 3-5 years of relevant experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high reliability products

+ Industry and/or Trade School training

+ Working knowledge ESD, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 standards

+

Experience with a variety of assembly techniques and tools (e.g. epoxy, thread-locker, torque wrench, soldering iron, microscope, etc.)

+ 3-5 years of soldering experience

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* +  5 yrs experience building a variety of component-level space products (e.g. avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, solar arrays, etc.)

+ IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification

+ Experience working in at least a 100,000 Class cleanroom environment

+ Ability to Obtain Clearance

+ Ability to travel
