DPP is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst / Admin for our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location:
Onsite in El Segundo, CA
Work schedule:
9x80 A Duration: 12 months
Terms:
W2 contract Work authorization: US Citizen
Position summary:
The Manufacturing Analyst / Admin will support our client's Tooling Organization Department in production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. This role will perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Basic Qualifications Manufacturing Analyst:
- Experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
- Relevant administrative/scheduling experience.
- Experience in a team environment producing support to a diverse customer base with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Experience managing competing demands while still meeting critical deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, vlookups, basic formulas), and Outlook with calendar functionality.
- Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and step forward for projects.
- Skilled with high attention to detail.
- Managing and scheduling meetings will be critical as well as organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership consumption.
- Basic data analysis and reporting experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing or related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing in an aerospace or industrial field.
- Experience with ERP/MRO systems such as SAP or MES, Power BI or Tableau dashboards and reporting.
