CNC Machinist 5 Axis

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Machine complex components to tight tolerances using engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform deburring and finishing operations as required.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools and probing systems.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and support shop upkeep activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production and process development efforts.

• 5+ years of CNC setup and machining experience.
• Experience machining metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and/or nickel-based alloys.
• Strong understanding of 5-axis machining operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with multi-axis machining centers and advanced CNC controls.
• CNC programming experience.
• Experience with high-precision or complex fixture setups.
• Strong knowledge of measurement equipment and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
