We’re looking for a social media intern who can execute content ideas from beginning to end based on WEBTOON’s series and brand personality, has a pulse on trending pop‑culture, and writes playful copy. You will work with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Partnerships, Creative, and Content.
CompensationThis is a paid internship position. $18 – $18 per hour.
Responsibilities- Pitch content ideas and social media partnerships that will entertain and engage action, fantasy, anime, gaming, and comic fans.
- Assist with a large volume of short‑form video content to be distributed via Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
- Write copy for owned‑and‑operated channels based on our brand personality.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and operations of our Ambassador community.
- Recommend new influencers based on audience demographics, social media metrics, and content styles.
- Update and track multiple content creation and upload schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
- Schedule, organize, and monitor content performance with social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ).
- Help optimize You Tube thumbnails, video titles, and video descriptions for owned‑and‑operated and influencer channels.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Deeply engaged with WEBTOON and entertainment, especially action, fantasy, anime, and gaming.
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms from a brand perspective, including Tik Tok, You Tube, and Instagram.
- Overflowing with social media ideas based on pop culture, memes, and stories.
- Thrives on producing entertaining, trending content that resonates with Gen‑Z audiences.
- Can work in a fast‑paced environment and execute multiple projects with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
- 20‑29 hour work week that’s flexible; college graduates are preferred.
- Hybrid program runs for 6 months; office based in El Segundo, California.
- Gain hands‑on marketing experience in a professional environment.
