Lead Supplier Quality Specialist

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a  
** Lead Supplier Quality Specialist
** to join our team in  
** El Segundo, CA.
** The selected candidate will work with the Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) organization to determine Supplier Quality requirements for suppliers.

* Position Responsibilities:

*
* + Leads audits and assessments of complex suppliers' systems, processes and products

+ Documents and reports audit and assessment results

+ Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers

+ Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work

+ Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives

+ Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity

+ Creates and reviews command media to identify process improvements and continuous improvements

+ Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure Quality requirements are flowed to the supplier

** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Do you meet this requirement?

+ 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Specialist

+ 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO
9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))

+ Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor's degree of higher

+ 1+ year of experience working in MATES or other calibration services

+ Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level
4):  $130,050 - $175,950
