Our client, a leading organization in consumer product development, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting global dolls brand teams such as Barbie, Monster High, Polly Pocket, and others. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: El Segundo, CA
Pay Range: 60-65
What's the Job?- Participate in concept/design reviews and provide input on safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction for new products
- Drive and support the creation and updating of design, engineering, and manufacturing standards using consumer insights and sound engineering rationale
- Interpret and communicate product regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across all markets
- Assess risks related to safety and quality issues, and develop mitigation strategies
- Author product specifications focusing on performance, safety, and quality for new product launches
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in a product development or product engineering environment, especially with consumer products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance or Quality Management Systems
- Ability to apply Six Sigma or similar quality tools and techniques
