About this Role
Consertus seeks an experienced Project Control Scheduler for a full‑time hybrid position supporting PG&E projects. The role reports to PG&E offices in the Bay Area, CA, a few times a week, and is a W2 contract position.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project schedules, cash flow and forecast plans and maintain resource‑loaded schedules.
- Attend project kickoff, walk‑down and status meetings; collect progress and risk data to revise schedules and risk registers.
- Use SAP Project System, SAP Work Management System and Primavera P6 to control schedule plans.
- Create, maintain and update monthly forecast budgets; prepare cost reports and maintain forecast accuracy.
- Analyze cost and schedule variances, recommend corrective actions and produce performance status reports.
- Coordinate with design, planning resources and software systems; assist in advance authorizations, job estimates and re‑authorizations.
- Manage orders and related documentation in the current software system (EDMS).
- Maintain change‑order, contingency release and journal‑entry logs; provide monthly cost and schedule variance reports.
- Validate weekly and monthly data sets, prepare scorecards and support process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze and report department forecasting performance and coordinate new reports to support business decisions.
- Prepare and maintain project budget and cycle forecast reports using SAP/BW system and post them to the project management website.
- Analyze monthly financial results and provide explanations and lessons learned reports.
- 3–10 years of scheduling experience on complex projects of $25M and above.
- Experience building schedules from scratch in cooperation with engineering, project management and construction teams.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and SAP; strong cost analysis skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Self‑starter with excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
Base salary range: $87,360 – $130,000 annually, plus an annual bonus as per company program. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision), optional pet insurance, legal insurance and supplemental health plans. 401(k) plan with dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 3% and an additional 50% match of the next 2%. Generous time off: 10 paid holidays and paid time off of 15days, increasing to 25 days.
