Job Summary: The Account Manager in Corporate Hospitality Sales is a full‑time, non‑managerial position. The role focuses on generating revenue and maintaining a corporate book of business by selling and renewing season ticketing packages, group packages, and related corporate sales. The account manager ensures top‑level customer satisfaction, drives referral‑based business, meets or exceeds sales targets, and collaborates with internal teams for exceptional service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct a minimum of 25 face‑to‑face meetings and presentations per month with corporate prospects and existing clients.
- Prospect and generate leads using lists, internet resources, and business organizations.
- Execute the B2B sales process from cold calls to closing, including discovery, product recommendations, and negotiations.
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and activity requirements.
- Maintain and grow the current book of business through relationship building and customer service, focusing on renewals, upgrades, and cross‑sell of corporate ticket accounts.
- Perform game‑day responsibilities, including entertaining clients and operating ticket sales booths and tables.
- Attend local networking events, industry mixers, and team‑hosted functions to promote offerings and engage with potential clients.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Event Operations, and Ticket Services to fulfill client agreements and support special projects.
- Research and generate new sales ideas by analyzing best practices in sports and entertainment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work unsupervised and as a team member.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven corporate sales background and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom Info, Outreach, and CRM systems.
Education:
A minimum education level of a BA/BS Degree (4‑year).
Experience:
A minimum of 4‑6 years of related experience.
Payscale: $71,000 – $75,000 + commission.
Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
