Security Officer - Unarmed - El Segundo, CA

Position Summary

Security Officers provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control. Part‑time schedules are available.

$23.06/Hr. (Varies based on level of Security Clearance)

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Preferably have a current Secret Clearance or higher.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving records check.
• Successfully pass an employment physical.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
• Six months or more of aerospace-related security experience preferred.
