Role OverviewRaytheon’s CI&I team requires an experienced investigator to conduct Counter Intelligence and Insider Threat investigations, operating independently with little oversight to protect the company’s and customers’ classified information and intellectual property.
Responsibilities- Independently plan and conduct investigations capable of withstanding judicial and administrative scrutiny into non‑compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and laws.
- Conduct CI and InT investigations to thwart espionage, sabotage, and compromise of Raytheon intellectual property and customers’ classified information.
- Perform InT deep‑dive analysis, assist legal investigations, and independently coordinate CI projects and activities.
- Conduct employee interviews and forensic audits of employee assets to determine adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
- Conduct liaison meetings with U.S. government agencies as necessary for investigative duties.
- Investigate intelligence‑gathering activities, including attempts by individuals to obtain unauthorized access to classified information, contact with known or suspected intelligence officers of another country, and potential exploitation by criminal or terrorist organizations or foreign intelligence entities.
- Investigate reported suspicious contacts via in‑person, social media, email, phone, or text communications targeting employees.
Required
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience with Counter Intelligence and/or investigative work.
- Experience with Microsoft products.
- Experience working with NISPOM.
- High levels of integrity and ethical standards.
Preferred
- B.A./B.S. in Criminal Justice, International Security, National Security, Cybersecurity, or related field with a minimum of 5 years in CI, investigations, law enforcement, or internal affairs; or federal credentialing by a CI or investigative agency.
- Prior law enforcement experience.
- Broad experience in physical, international, industrial, supply‑chain, and cybersecurity domains.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analysis, investigative report writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Hands‑on experience investigating CI, SCI, SAP, and/or ITAR/EAR violations.
- Hands‑on experience conducting NISPOM administrative inquiries.
- Familiarity with DoDM 5205.07 Vols 1–4, DoD 5200.01 Vols 1–3, and incident reporting per DoD 5200.01 Vol.
