Senior Industrial Security Specialist – Boeing
Location:
El Segundo, CA.
Use systems like JPAS/DISS, Scattered Castles, JADE, JADS and SIMS to enable classified program success. Work on mission‑focused briefings on classification marking, Operations Security (OPSEC), and physical/communications security; own personnel and classified‑material records; and develop practical Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedures for handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials.
Responsibilities- Assist with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self‑inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
- Assist with Administrative Inquiries such as collecting and analyzing data, writing reports and conducting interviews on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non‑compliance.
- Assist with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties (inventory, distribution and destruction).
- Protect government, intellectual, third‑party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
- Develop, implement, and administer an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance on less‑complex programs.
- Perform Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses.
- Assist in developing and conducting security awareness training and education programs.
- Assist in sub‑contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency with databases for determining personnel eligibility to access classified information (DISS, Scattered Castles, JADE, JADS, SIMS, etc.).
- Conduct initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, OPSEC, physical and communication security.
- Manage personnel records, classified material records and other sensitive records to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct inventories and record‑reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Prepare activity or program CONOPs outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations; establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing and transporting proprietary materials.
- Coordinate across security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals, security rulings or deviations.
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security.
- 5+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security‑related field.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Experience with oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a successful U.S. government polygraph examination.
Requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. A clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees may enroll in health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance and paid/unpaid time off programs. Pay range: $119,000 – $161,000. Pay depends on experience and qualifications.
