Security Officer with Secret Clearance - Government Site (Part‑Time, Flex Schedule) – $27.08 per hour – ElSegundo, CA

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Cleared Security Officer. A Secret‑cleared officer protects classified information and personnel, provides specialized security training, and contributes to a positive community impact.

• Provide high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors through secure entry and exit points
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5years of verifiable experience
• Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at an appropriate level; national‑security eligibility determined by stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
• One or more of the following:
• Minimum of 3years of security experience on a DoD‑cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer‑service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client‑specific sites

• Prior law‑enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
