Position: Physical Security Staff IV/V

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and implement physical security programs to protect classified and unclassified sensitive information.
  • Serve as a physical security expert for the lifecycle of corporate Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and other secured areas.
  • Collaborate with facilities personnel, architects, and government customers to address security issues during concept, construction, modification, maintenance, and close‑out activities.
  • Provide technical support for intrusion detection system alarms, access control, and other security systems; establish a process for alarm response and repair.
  • Conduct system audits, assessments, and reviews; develop security system plans in accordance with government and industry regulations.
  • Create and review physical, technical, and access policies and procedures to support operations.
  • Perform physical security surveys and facility threat assessments; prepare written reports with recommendations for corrections.
  • Partner with program security officers and stakeholders to address co‑use and joint‑use requests and provide security updates.
  • Maintain and update facility checklists (fixed facility, TEMPEST, compartmented area) to attain and maintain accreditations.
  • Complete yearly self‑inspection reports, corrective action plans, and submit them to applicable sponsors.
What You Need to be Successful
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eight or more years of physical security experience.
  • Top Secret w/SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5220.22, ICD/ICS 705 series, 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), and other applicable security directives, policies and Executive Orders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Understanding of physical security concepts and practices including intrusion prevention, detection, CCTV, and access control.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • For Physical Security Staff (Security Staff V):
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Ten or more years of relevant experience.
    • Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or related responsibilities.
How You Can Stand Out?
  • Master’s degree.
  • 10+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience with IC/Government databases (TALON/FAM) and Office of Technical Relations pre‑publication reviews.
  • DoD or industry security certification (CPP, PSP, SFPC, PSC) and completion of Physical Security training (ICD 705, CDSE).
  • Proven ability to lead corporate‑level complex projects, mentor individuals, and assign/monitor daily tasks.
  • Ability to interpret building designs/blueprints for security requirement validation and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in gathering information from multiple sources to develop briefing materials and support projects.
  • Collaborative work across agencies and locations with minimal supervision.
Compensation

The grade‑based pay range for this job is $95,200.00 – $ per year.
